The dossier and samples are examined by experts of the Center for Pharmaceutical Product Safety. The examination includes a primary examination, laboratory testing of samples and a specialized examination (pharmaceutical and pharmacological assessment).
The application and examination materials are reviewed by the Presidium of the authority. Upon a positive decision, a marketing authorization valid for 5 years is issued, and the product data are entered in the State Register of Medicines.
The instructions for medical use and packaging mock-ups are translated into the state language, a local SmPC and Normative Quality Document are developed, dossier sections are certified, and the application for state registration is prepared.
